"Religulous" Resource Page

In an earlier post I mentioned that we would have more for you on Bill Maher's "film" entitled Religulous. In the film, Maher sets out to seemingly question people all over the world and to find out why they believe in God, etc.

There are many thoughts and opinions swirling around the Internet, both positive and negative, however, most agree that Maher's film is nothing more than a witty comedian poking fun at those who believe in God, miracles, etc.

I myself am going to be addressing some of tactics Maher implements in the film in an upcoming post, however, for now I wanted to offer these reviews that I found informative:

2) Mind of Maher by Peter Suderman

3) Religulous- Review by Brett McCracken at Christianity Today Movies

4) Maher's Religulous a Call to Arms by Colleen Raezler

7) Mighty Maher Strikes Out by L. Brent Bozell, III of the Media Research Center

8) Religulous reviewed by Rev. Bryan Griem

9) Religulous reveiwed by Paul Asay

10) Religupigulous by J.P. Holding (Updated and Highly Recommended)

I believe that this film merely serves to confirm what many within the body of Christ have been saying for a long time- we need to know what we believe and why we believe it!

Finally, remember the words of Jude, written "to those who are called, beloved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ" (Jude 1:1b):

"But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, "In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions. It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of Spirit. But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit; keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life" (Jude 1:17-21).

Courage and Godspeed,
Chad A. Gross
