Hey brother! When I was watching this video, I thought of you right away. I know that you had asked a question about how to share your faith with a co-worker a few days back and I felt this was a simple way to get you started!
Further, I would highly recommend Greg Koukl's newest book, Tactics. You can borrow my copy if you are interested. I believe you would really benefit from it. It deals with effective questioning when evangelizing.

For me, it certainly puts things in perspective when Dr. Lennox states that there is a good chance that he will be asked a question that he doesn't know the answer to.
If that is true for Dr. Lennox, it is without a doubt true for me!
You are correct: "apologetics is about really caring about people and what they think."
Indeed; and I know that I have many times lost sight of that and pray that the Lord will continue to make my motives more like His own.
Chasen, what are some ways that you think apologists could keep their motives in check? In other words, how can the apologist be sure that they are focusing on caring for the person and their ideas and not winning the argument?
If anyone has any ideas, please chime in!

Dr. Lennox does an excellent job explaining how to prepare your defense of Christianity even when you don't know the anser.
With my job, I have so many opportunities to witness to co workers and so called "customers". Anyway, I used to have such a problem with asking questions about someones faith or why they believed a certain way. I always felt that if they in turn asked me a question, that I wouldn't know it and that I would look foolish. However as my faith has grown stronger, God has worked through me and given me the strength to ask questions.
Also, when you start asking questions about someones faith, you might have just planted a seed in them, or better yet watered a seed that someone else planted.
