Free E-book: The Resurrection of Theism by Stuart Hackett

A kind reader recently made me aware of the fact that Stuart Hackett's well-known book, The Resurrection of Theism is available for free online!  This is the book that originally inspired Dr. William Lane Craig.

You can find it here.

We have added this book to our Free Apologetics E-Book Library.

Enjoy and thanks to "pds" for letting us know about this!

Courage and Godspeed,
Chad

No problem Chad! I just hope the more philosophically minded apologists will read it because it is brilliant!

Hello Anonymous,

I'm not sure what to tell you. When I visit the site here, the book comes up and can be read for free.

So sorry!

Hi Chad.

I'm mentioned in the preface of the 2nd edition, but I am the 1st edition copyright owner. Stu signed it over to me way back in the 80s. I uploaded it to bookfi.net. Russia, Russia, Russia lol

That version, which is the one that currently circulates on the internet, is actually my manual retyping of the original, so it has come copy errors. However, a scanning of the original hardcover will be available from me by the end of next week.

I'm also reading it aloud. If anyone is interested in the mp3s, they can contact me and I'll give them download/play access on my google drive.

And this is the state-of-the-art culmination of that book and a number of old and new atheism books, especially Kai Nielsen's 2nd edition of Ethics Without God:

I still have to integrate some of Hackett's refutations, but that should be finished in a couple of weeks.

Keep in mind I write a lot as Frank Stone, depending on where you see my rants on the internet.

If you want a real charge check out Vox Day's posting of The Criterial Argument for the Existence of God and the combox where I respond to over 300 objections.

My two main blogs are Metatheoretic Machine and Ultimate Object, over on blogger.

I'm logged in here with my google account, but if anyone needs to contact me, I'm at machinephilosophy..... protonmail.c...

Have fun.

All the best,

Frank (Roger) Wasson
