Video - The Argument for the Resurrection of Jesus

In this featured video, David Pallmann of Faith Because of Reason argues as follows:

1. There is testimony saying that Jesus was resurrected (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).

2. This testimony comes from credible sources.

3. There are only three logical possibilities with respect to credible testimony: it is true, it is deliberately false, or it is honestly mistaken.

4. The credible testimony for the resurrection of Jesus is not deliberately false.

5. The credible testimony for the resurrection of Jesus is not honestly mistaken.

6. Therefore, the credible testimony for the resurrection of Jesus is true.

7. If the credible testimony for the resurrection of Jesus is true, then Jesus was resurrected.

8. Therefore, Jesus was resurrected.

Pallmann also masterfully deals with various alternatives to the resurrection explanation.

It should be noted that this video is a shorted version of Pallmann's 6 hour video offering a masterclass in arguing for the resurrection of Jesus.  You can find that video here.

Finally, Pallmann has recently participated in a written debate on the topic with Eric Van Evans here.

I am grateful to David Pallmann and the work he has put into these projects.

Enjoy!

Courage and Godspeed,
Chad
