About the Book

How should Christians think clearly and faithfully about the questions shaping today’s culture?

Worldview Essentials brings together ten accessible chapters addressing some of the most important questions Christians encounter today.  Drawing on Scripture, theology, philosophy, and contemporary debates, Christopher L. Reese offers thoughtful Christian responses to questions about:

• scientific evidence for God and the possibility of miracles
• God’s omnipotence and omniscience
• human dignity and the image of God
• love, sexuality, and the Christian understanding of marriage
• gender ideology and its claims about human identity
• helping children develop their identity in Christ
• the meaning of genuine happiness
• Christianity and the occult

Going beyond soundbites and superficial answers, Worldview Essentials provides a concise introduction to thinking Christianly about the ideas believers must address in contemporary culture.

Whether you are a parent, student, church leader, or simply a believer seeking to understand and defend a Christian worldview, these essays will help you approach today’s cultural questions with scriptural clarity and rational confidence.
