Philosopher Stephen T. Davis on the Claim, "Christianity is true for you but not for me."

"I confess that I have never clearly understood what the expression 'true for you' is supposed to mean.  If somebody says (as a student of mine once said to me), 'Christianity is true for you but not for me,' I think that just means 'You are a Christian and I am not.'  That is, we disagree.  And I submit that what we disagree about is this: Is Christianity true (i.e., objectively true)?"1
