About the Book

Welcome to Doorway Crew, a secret after-school club for curious, and quirky, elementary school students. What do we do at Doorway Crew? We travel to other worlds and make observations. There’s only one problem … something (or someone) seems to be messing up world after world in the universe. Want to join our Crew and help us figure out what is causing disaster?

Gabby’s world is thrown upside down on the first day at a new school. She’s selected for animal husbandry club duties. Turns out, the club has a mission for her: observe and report back from planet Ludicrum, a world of roller coasters and thrill rides! That may sound easy, but Gabby’s about to find out that this mission is fraught with danger; one of the roller coasters at Ludicrum holds a dark secret.

Notable Recommendations

"It's rare to find a children's book that is both engaging and thought-provoking, but Gabby Goes to Ludicrum is just that. I highly recommend that parents read through this book with their children to start great worldview conversations. And I can't wait until the next book in the series comes out!"
