Jesus of Nazarene - A Poem by Emma Gross

My daughter Emma was recently asked to write a poem for school.  The writing prompt was as follows:

"Write a shaped poem about the resurrection."

She decided to use the shape of a goblet and I wanted to share her work here because beauty is a power apologetic.

kneeling down upon in the garden
"my followers do not fall asleep"
falling to his weary knees
praying for his sheep
silent olive grove
he begged
father
take
this suffering
from your son, from me
said Jesus Christ of Nazarene
